Venues where Žiga has performed are as varied as the music he has been playing: international festivals, clubs, theatres, galleries, streets, parks, shelters, living rooms; free improvisation, chanson, post rock, jazz, etc. Žiga Golob often intertwines his music with other forms of art, such as contemporary dance, drama, poetry, film (feature, documentary, silent…) and visual art.

He has published a book of poetry, and participated in making of more than a hundred albums, that have been released in Slovenia and abroad (Croatia, Austria, Germany, Ireland, France, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, etc.). A number of these albums were awarded, recently Chris Eckman's Where The Spirit Rests (Deutsche Shallplattenkritikpreis), and Tamara Obrovac Quartet's Nuvola (Porin).
